My mom was so surprised that I was passing this one along. She said it smelled just like something I would love! It’s a gorgeous scent- I really pick up on the lily. While I passed this along to mom, we made an agreement that I will come back to the four scents at a later time when my allergies/hormones aren’t as bad. I am happy that mom and possibly my brother will get a chance to wear these. They were all as impressed as I was!
This one surprised me in a good way!
It opens warm and slightly sweet with the amber and honey, but the tangelo gives it just enough brightness, so it doesn’t feel too heavy. As it settles, the florals come through, mostly the lily with a soft touch of lavender that keeps it from going too sweet.
The dry down is where it really comes together though. The driftwood and musk smooth everything out, and there’s a hint of rose that ties it back to the sweetness without being overpowering.
It’s well balanced, easy to wear, and feels a little different without being hard to like. Definitely one I’d reach for often.
