What is Keskiyön Hovi?
Keskiyön Hovi is an independent artisan perfume house specializing in atmospheric, story-driven fragrance.
Every perfume is blended, bottled, labeled, packed, and shipped by hand in small batches by the perfumer behind the house.
KH was created to feel immersive, emotional, cinematic, and deeply personal — like stepping into another world through scent.
What is your current processing time?
Orders are currently processed within 3–7 business days.
Please note that business days do not include weekends or holidays.
Because KH is a one-person operation and every order is prepared by hand, processing times may occasionally increase during launches, seasonal releases, or high-volume events.
Do you offer samples?
Yes. Samples are available for most fragrances so you can explore the house before committing to a full bottle.
Fragrance is deeply personal, and skin chemistry can dramatically affect how a perfume wears. Samples are intentionally kept accessible so customers can experience a fragrance before purchasing a larger size.
What concentration are your perfumes?
All Eau de Parfums are blended at extrait-level strength, typically around 25% concentration for a rich, long-lasting wear experience.
What are atmospheric perfumes?
Atmospheric perfumes are fragrances designed to capture a feeling, memory, environment, or scene rather than smelling strictly “pretty” or traditionally wearable.
You may encounter notes inspired by rain, old books, fog, forests, candle smoke, antique wood, earth, petrichor, or other immersive elements layered alongside more traditional perfume accords.
Why does perfume smell different on different people?
Skin chemistry, climate, medications, hormones, and even hydration levels can affect how a fragrance wears.
A perfume may smell warm and sweet on one person and darker or sharper on another.
How long do your perfumes last?
Longevity varies depending on skin chemistry and fragrance profile, but most KH perfumes are designed for extended wear and strong projection.
Atmospheric, resinous, woody, and darker compositions often wear longer than lighter citrus or airy fragrances.
Are your fragrances handmade?
Yes. Every fragrance is hand-blended and bottled in small batches.
Minor variations between batches can naturally occur due to the artisanal nature of the process.
Do you restock sold out fragrances?
Some fragrances return regularly, while others are seasonal, limited edition, or eventually vaulted.
If a fragrance is marked as vaulted, it may not return once remaining stock has sold through.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Due to the personal nature of fragrance products, returns and exchanges are only accepted on unopened items.
To qualify for a return, the product must:
- Remain completely unopened and unused
- Still have the original seal intact
- Be returned in its original packaging and box
For hygiene and product integrity reasons, opened perfumes cannot be returned or exchanged.
If you are a first-time customer purchasing a larger bottle, KH will often include a sample of your chosen fragrance when possible so you can test it before opening the full-size bottle.
What happens if my package is lost or stolen?
Once a package has been marked as delivered by the carrier, KH is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
Please ensure your shipping address is correct before placing your order.
Do you ship internationally?
International shipping is available to select locations.
Buyers are responsible for any customs fees, VAT, import taxes, or duties required by their country.
Are candles still part of the brand?
Candles are currently offered in limited seasonal releases and are no longer the primary focus of the house.
KH is now primarily centered around artisan fragrance and immersive perfumery.
Can I layer your fragrances?
Absolutely. Many KH fragrances are intentionally designed to layer beautifully together to create a more personal and evolving scent experience.
