It’s such a beautiful scent! Very much a soft floral. I enjoyed this one a lot. Alas, something in it did not agree with my sensitive sinuses. However, I did give it to my mom. Evelyn was her favorite of the four I gave her- She kept smelling it the entire time!

This perfume absolutely broke my brain the first time I smelled it.
I wasn’t expecting it at all. It’s floral forward but not soft or decorative. Peony, yes, but grounded with sandalwood and soft woods so it feels warm and steady instead of pretty-for-the-sake-of-it. I legit teared up and couldn’t explain why.
Then I found out it’s named after the perfumer’s mother who passed away, and that it took her 17 years to translate that feeling into fragrance, and I fully ugly cried. Like okay cool, now I’m on the floor. Suddenly the scent made complete sense. It doesn’t feel like grief as a concept, it feels like memory being held carefully. Quiet but strong.
